Once again this year, many different towns on the island of Tenerife, including La Orotava, Arona, Icod de los Vinos, El Sauzal, Güímar and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, are showing their religious feeling and devotion in Easter.
There will be traditional processions, organised and led by confraternities, and other religious activities that are part of the Catholic Easter programme. In towns like Candelaria, Güímar and Adeje, the Stations of the Cross devotion is worth seeing. In most towns, Easter celebrations begin on Palm Sunday and end on Easter Sunday.
