David Arauz, Michelin-starred chef in Madrid and a great specialist in Japanese arts and cuisine, will be the guest of honour of the Canary-Belgian chef Lucas Maes. Both will develop a unique menu designed for this triple occasion and paired with the wines proposed by the experts of the Vinofilos, El Gusto por el Vino and Piñero teams.
The three restaurants currently headed by chef Lucas Maes, Zumaque in Puerto de la Cruz, Aqua in Los Gigantes and the recently reopened Sucás in Adeje, will celebrate on three consecutive days three absolutely select dinners for only 20 diners who will have the opportunity to enjoy this tasty gastronomic action.
In 12 dinners, we will be able to discover the gastronomic universe of both chefs. Arauz, whose career in Japanese cuisine has been forged in leading restaurants in this speciality; Suntory, Kabuki, Kazan and lastly his 99 KŌ Sushi Bar in Madrid with which he won a Michelin star, will take the reins in the cold game with a sequence of elaborations to let yourself be carried away. Product, product and more product of the highest freshness on the best rice prepared and served at the perfect temperature. Maes, on the other hand, will be in charge of the hot menu, designing unique creations for this special menu from his wide palette of flavours and recipes that will be interspersed with Arauz's creations.
Each 12-course menu includes the pairing of the 4 wines proposed by Vinofilos, El Gusto por el Vino and Piñero, and will be priced at 180€. The gastronomic experiences will be held on 25th February at Zumaque-Creative Casual Food (Puerto de la Cruz), 26th February at Aqua Restaurante (Los Gigantes) and 27th February at Sucás Restaurante (Costa Adeje).
