Every year for Christmas, the streets and squares in Puerto de la Cruz are flooded with light, and the spirit of the Christmas City reaches every nook and cranny in this seaside town. This year, the Three Camels will be back, along with other attractions and the Christmas Market. This means there will be lots of enjoyable shopping and entertainment options.
More than 120 streets in town will be dressed up with Christmas lights, and up to 14 Christmas figures or porticoes will be installed in parks, squares and churches. The Christmas lights will be officially on on 30 November both in the centre of town and in the district of La Paz. Then, all the neighbourhoods will have their Christmas lights on between 1 and 6 December.
