The Christmas lights in the historic centre of La Laguna have become a meeting point for many people, but especially for young people. Although since mid-September, with the arrival of students to La Laguna, it has become the city of youth par excellence, the Christmas season brings together hundreds of young people from all over the island who flock to the centre of La Laguna every year to stroll around and take the best photos of themselves in the decorations.

The popularity of the Christmas lights in La Laguna has grown more and more over the years. Aware of this, the local council pays special attention every year to the decoration of the main streets of the town centre. On this occasion, 2,800 Christmas elements have been placed in one of the most popular and eagerly awaited events.
