The race will take place on 4th February from 17:00 hours, starting in Tamaimo and finishing in the village of Arguayo.
The Town Hall of Santiago del Teide is preparing the second sporting event of the year, the 17th edition of the Carrera Vertical Subida del Panadero, which will take place on 4th February from 17:00 hours.
The start will take place from the Abelardo González square in Tamaimo in the direction of El Retamar, then passing through Las Manchas and finishing in Arguayo, specifically in the village square, with a total positive ascent of 468 metres for a total distance of 5,760 metres.
Registration is now open at the price of €10 for the general public and free for those registered in Santiago del Teide at the following link:

Only people who are 16 years of age or older on the day of the race can register, in the case of minors, they must submit a duly completed parental consent form, which can be found on the website of the council.
This is one of the oldest mountain races in Tenerife and takes place in an incomparable natural setting, the ascent from Tamaimo to El Retamar where the vegetation envelops you; the arrival at the high area of Las Manchas where you can appreciate the views towards the island of La Gomera, the Valley of Santiago del Teide, etc. and finally, the descent towards Arguayo accompanied by the Roque de Arguayo.
